Bespoke handmade clothes for the young and the young at heart

Welcome to the Utie Scootie web site.
I have been making my own clothes since I was a young girl in my home town
in Germany. Four years ago I started designing clothes from old material mainly
for my children and I then introduced my designs locally via various shops, craft
fairs and Open Houses. I now design and make clothes for adults too.

I seek out bold, colourful, retro materials on markets, in charity shops, jumble
sales and the internet and turn them into exquisite, original dresses, bags, and
coats. Each item as well as being created from recycled material is unique and
the design is simple and elegant. I believe in the sustainability of my business
and my strategy is to keep the prices affordable and to reuse almost everything
from the garments I recycle.
